Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Staff Accountant position based in the Greater Philadelphia area. The role reports to the Controller and supports month-end close activities across multiple entities. Key tasks include posting prepaid expenses, depreciation, payroll journal entries, and accruals. Key Responsibilities

The role also assists with the organization's financial affairs and with the preparation of financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Direct the timely preparation of all financial statements for the organization and related entities, as well as reports required by government agencies.

Oversee the control environment to ensure SOX compliance and align with shareholder reporting requirements, month-end, quarter-end, year-end closes and ad hoc requests.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
CPA license required.
MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior managerial accounting role.
Minimum of 3 years of Federal Government contracting experience.
Strong knowledge of and experience with accounting and forecasting systems.
Joint Venture experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
