Our Finance Operate offering ensures continuous operation of the finance function, extending the capabilities of our Finance Transformation Advising and Implementing portfolio.

What you’ll do

Oversee the workflow for allocating fund expenses, prepare data for 15c profitability reporting, and ensure accuracy for board and regulatory deliverables.
Coordinate reimbursement and expense payment processing, ensuring correct coding, alignment with budgets, and controlled payment release with authorized sign-off.
Lead annual budgeting cycles and conduct run-rate revenue analyses to confirm funds’ financial viability.
Own and refine the expense accrual methodology; centralize and standardize accrual processes for efficiency.
Direct invoice validation and approval; partner closely with business managers for payment reviews and sign-offs.
Implement and optimize technology transitions (procure-to-pay platform, invoice validation, analytics dashboards).
Support and enhance profitability analytics, scenario planning (“what-if” analyses), and ongoing enhancements leveraging AI/CFO Insights.
Ensure robust process and policy documentation with improvements focused on timing, ownership, training, knowledge transfer, and audit readiness.
Oversee team resource allocation and mitigate key-person risk by strengthening cross-training and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
4+ years of experience in fund finance, fund operations, or asset management
Proven ability to manage allocations, budgeting, profitability reporting, and regulatory support
Strong understanding of accounting systems, Excel, scenario analysis, and workflow automation
Experience leading teams in global (US/India) operational models; adept at documentation and process improvement
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients/industries you serve

Preferred credentials

CPA, CFA, or other advanced financial credentials

Analytical / Decision Making Responsibilities

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into actionable work products
Capability to work independently or with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
