Finance Manager (Finance Coordinator)

Salary: $85,000 – $99,000 base salary depending on experience

Overview

We are seeking a Finance Coordinator / Senior Accountant for a hybrid role with Fedco Seeds, Inc., based in Clinton, Maine. The position supports financial reporting and systems across our worker- and consumer-owned cooperative, and collaborates with the General Coordinator and the leadership team to strengthen reporting, improve processes, and support collaborative decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting
• Maintain general ledger accuracy
• Assist with month-end closure
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Improve Acumatica ERP financial reporting
• Work with leadership to develop clear financial reports

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years accounting or financial reporting experience
• Strong understanding of financial statements
• Experience with ERP systems (Acumatica preferred)
• Strong spreadsheet and analysis skills
• Solid communication skills
