Financial Analyst

Weitzman is a leading provider of retail real estate services in Texas, delivering a full spectrum of solutions including general brokerage, property management, asset management, and development services. Our operations focus on Texas' major markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston and San Antonio. Weitzman is seeking a Financial Analyst for our Dallas office brokerage division, located in the Uptown area.

Responsibilities

• Support the retail and office investment sales division to enhance brokerage activities in investment sales
• Analyze underwriting materials and market information for retail development and acquisition opportunities
• Prepare due diligence analyses for the company’s retail portfolio
• Coordinate all aspects of the loan closing process
• Assist the CIO and development partners in preparing development budgets
• Assist in maintaining and improving the company’s electronic database
• Maintain internal and external reporting files
• Conduct market research
• Assist in property tax valuations and related protests

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, real estate, or accounting required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Argus
• Proficiency in database management and internet research software
