Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies aligned with organizational goals to optimize income streams.
- Analyze financial data, market conditions, and the competitive landscape to inform pricing models and revenue forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including finance, sales, marketing, and operations to implement revenue initiatives effectively.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret complex data sets, and communicate insights clearly to senior leadership for strategic decision making.
- Oversee the accuracy of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports through meticulous account reconciliation and audit procedures.
- Utilize advanced financial software such as PeopleSoft, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools for accurate bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger management.
- Conduct variance analysis, budget forecasting, and financial modeling to support long term planning initiatives.
- Maintain expertise in specialized areas such as LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), nonprofit accounting practices, securities law compliance, governmental accounting standards, and technical accounting principles.
- Mentor team members by providing guidance on best practices in financial management, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience in revenue management within a corporate or nonprofit setting with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial report writing.
- Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software including PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or similar platforms; familiarity with Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis is essential.
- Strong background in financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management, and cash flow analysis.
- Experience in auditing processes and regulatory reporting requirements; ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, general ledger reconciliation, account analysis, and accrual accounting practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with a solid understanding of public accounting standards; ability to interpret financial statements effectively.
- Prior mentoring experience or leadership roles that involved guiding finance teams or cross-departmental collaboration are highly valued.
Salary and Location
Pay: $51,468.25 - $65,000.00 per year
