Overview
We are seeking an accounting professional ready to assume a strategic financial leadership role with exposure to operations. Our client is a growing multi-unit hospitality and entertainment organization looking to add a Controller to the team. If you are motivated by travel and enjoy hands-on collaboration with regional finance teams, this could be a strong fit. Salary range is $115,000 to $130,000, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial operations for hospitality and restaurant venues, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modeling.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, delivering variance analysis and actionable insights to leadership.
- Partner with executives and location-level leaders on financial strategy, P&L performance, labor optimization, and margin improvement.
- Ensure GAAP compliance, maintain internal controls, and meet regulatory requirements while coordinating audits, tax filings, and financial reporting.
- Support capital planning and ROI analysis for new venue openings, renovations, and major business initiatives.
Required Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP system.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Lookups and Pivot Tables.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
