Overview

We are seeking an accounting professional ready to assume a strategic financial leadership role with exposure to operations. Our client is a growing multi-unit hospitality and entertainment organization looking to add a Controller to the team. If you are motivated by travel and enjoy hands-on collaboration with regional finance teams, this could be a strong fit. Salary range is $115,000 to $130,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Lead financial operations for hospitality and restaurant venues, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modeling.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, delivering variance analysis and actionable insights to leadership.
Partner with executives and location-level leaders on financial strategy, P&L performance, labor optimization, and margin improvement.
Ensure GAAP compliance, maintain internal controls, and meet regulatory requirements while coordinating audits, tax filings, and financial reporting.
Support capital planning and ROI analysis for new venue openings, renovations, and major business initiatives.

Required Experience and Skills

5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP system.
Advanced Excel skills, including Lookups and Pivot Tables.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
