This contract Accounting Consultant role is based in Dallas, TX, onsite three days per week, with Vaco by Highspring. The assignment offers an hourly rate of $40-$60 and runs through September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Execute full cycle general ledger accounting and support the month end close processes.
- Handle detailed accounting tasks, including prepaids, accruals, and journal entries.
- Leverage ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Support the month end close and the preparation of financial documents.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support various accounting initiatives and projects.
- Maintain current knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience performing full cycle accounting.
- Proficiency with major ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Compensation
Pay rate ranges from $40 to $60 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
