Job Description
Role Overview
Small Wealth Management, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial, is seeking a full-time paraplanner and client service specialist to support our financial advisors and deliver an exceptional client experience. This position blends comprehensive planning support, operational excellence, and high-touch client service.
What You'll Do
- Client Service & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- Handle account inquiries and escalate as needed.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for advisor and client communications.
- Paraplanning & Advisor Support
- Prepare financial plans and conduct investment research.
- Complete trades and transactions accurately.
- Prepare agendas, reports, forms, and documentation for client meetings.
- Maintain Salesforce notes and client follow-up tasks.
- Operations & Workflow Management
- Prepare and submit new business paperwork.
- Coordinate transfers, rollovers, wires, and deposits.
- Maintain documentation within CRM and workflow systems.
- Administrative Support
- Process expense reports and prepare client correspondence.
- Scan, organize, and maintain digital files.
- Support advisors with office tasks and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65), required
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- High integrity and confidentiality
- Experience in the financial planning or wealth advisory industry, preferred
