Role overview

Position: Global Real Estate Development Financial Analysis, Senior Associate within JPMorganChase. Location: New York, NY 10017. You will support the financial management of major real estate projects, including the renovation of 383 Madison Avenue and other headquarters initiatives. The role involves preparing high impact presentations, conducting ad hoc financial analyses, and supporting financial reporting and budgeting in a fast paced environment while collaborating with senior leaders to drive the broader development program.

Responsibilities

  • Create clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations for senior management and project stakeholders using PowerPoint, translating complex financial data and project updates into actionable insights.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support project decision making, including scenario and sensitivity modeling and assessments of financial impact.
  • Develop expertise in the GRE project financial management system, respond promptly to data and analysis requests from senior management, and interpret system data for trend analysis and metric reporting.
  • Build and maintain robust Excel based financial models that incorporate project data and assumptions to forecast depreciation, cash flow, and early indicators of performance.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and budgeting processes for Midtown projects, ensuring forecasts and budget submissions are accurate and consistent.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of relevant finance experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, data analysis) and PowerPoint (presentation development)
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and familiarity with project management and financial data systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and present findings clearly to diverse audiences
  • Attention to detail, proactivity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Collaborate effectively as a team player and partner with broader Finance and project teams

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in real estate development and construction of large scale projects
  • Familiarity with GRE project financial management systems
  • Ability to work independently and drive process improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary is determined by the role, experience, skill set, and location
