General Ledger Accountant ( Clean Up Project)

Overview

TDL Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to support financial operations across multiple entities in Fairbanks, Alaska. This full-time role is tied to a clean up project and offers a pay rate of $35.00 per hour. The schedule is 30 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounts for multiple entities
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Support month end and year end close processes
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, and management reports
• Collaborate with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and project teams
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Contribute to process improvements and ERP system efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience, multi-entity experience preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency with accounting software, with Sage 100 Contractor and/or Deltek Costpoint preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Experience working with Alaska Native Corporations is a plus
