Accounting Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, articulate, and detail‑driven accounting consultant for a contract assignment through September 2026. This on‑site role in the Dallas area requires three days per week on location, with a pay range of $40 to $60 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle general ledger accounting with a focus on month‑end close.
• Perform detailed tasks including prepaids, accruals, and journal entries.
• Utilize ERP systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Assist in preparing month‑end close and related financial documents.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support various accounting initiatives and projects.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in major ERP systems is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $40-$60 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
