Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete financing process, including loan approvals, credit analysis, and contract preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with TILA regulations.
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions that enhance their vehicle purchasing experience.
- Conduct thorough credit assessments using financial software and perform basic math calculations to determine appropriate financing options.
- Negotiate terms with customers, presenting clear explanations of loan options, interest rates, and payment plans to facilitate informed decisions.
- Upsell additional products such as extended warranties, insurance packages, and other dealership offerings to maximize customer value and dealership revenue.
- Process title transfers, title processing, and ensure all documentation is completed accurately within required timeframes.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to support automobile sales efforts through effective financing strategies and customer service excellence.
Skills
- 3 to 5 years proven experience in automotive finance management or loan officer roles within a dealership setting.
- Strong customer relationship management skills to foster trust and loyalty throughout the financing process.
- Expertise in financial services, including credit analysis, loan processing, contracts, and title processing procedures.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with the ability to upsell products confidently without pressure tactics.
- Proficiency with financial software systems and the ability to perform 10-key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
- Knowledge of TILA regulations to ensure all lending practices are compliant with federal laws.
- Solid understanding of automobile sales processes combined with customer service excellence to deliver a positive buying experience.
- Basic math skills necessary for calculating payments, interest rates, and creditworthiness assessments.
Pay
Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
