Position Overview
Princeville at Hanalei Community Association is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and budgeting activities. This hands-on role emphasizes maintaining accurate financial records, generating reports, and supporting financial systems. It is focused on operations rather than corporate finance strategy or investment management. Location: Princeville, HI 96722.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage accounting systems and financial records
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting reports
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
- Support annual budget development and monitor performance against the budget
- Assist with financial system setup, maintenance, and improvements
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
- Review financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AppFolio, Yardi, or similar)
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Preferred Experience: Community association, property management, or similar background
- Preferred Experience: Experience with financial system setup, transitions, or data cleanup
- Preferred Experience: Experience working with audits

Compensation
Salary range: $90,000 – $115,000, depending on experience.
