Finance Manager

Position Overview

Princeville at Hanalei Community Association is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and budgeting activities. This hands-on role emphasizes maintaining accurate financial records, generating reports, and supporting financial systems. It is focused on operations rather than corporate finance strategy or investment management. Location: Princeville, HI 96722.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage accounting systems and financial records
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting reports
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
• Support annual budget development and monitor performance against the budget
• Assist with financial system setup, maintenance, and improvements
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes
• Review financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AppFolio, Yardi, or similar)
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Preferred Experience: Community association, property management, or similar background
• Preferred Experience: Experience with financial system setup, transitions, or data cleanup
• Preferred Experience: Experience working with audits

Compensation

Salary range: $90,000 – $115,000, depending on experience.

Full-time position

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
