Based in New York, NY (onsite), this Senior Associate role within JPMorganChase's Global Real Estate Development Finance team focuses on managing financial aspects of high value real estate projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop concise, visually engaging presentations for senior management and project stakeholders, translating complex financial data and project updates into clear PowerPoint deliverables.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to inform project decisions, including scenario and sensitivity analyses and evaluation of financial impact.
- Become proficient in the GRE project financial management system, rapidly handling data and analysis requests from leadership and interpreting system data for trend analysis and metric reporting.
- Create and maintain robust Excel-based financial models using project data and assumptions to forecast depreciation and cash flow and spot early signs of performance.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and budgeting for Midtown projects, ensuring forecast accuracy and consistency in budgets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant finance experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis, and in PowerPoint for presentation development.
- Experience with financial reporting and budgeting, plus familiarity with project management or financial data systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Attention to detail, proactivity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with broader Finance and project teams.
