Chief Financial Officer

Overview

Forks Lath & Plaster (FLP) is seeking a strategic, results-driven Chief Financial Officer to guide the organization’s financial vision and fuel long-term growth. The CFO will manage all financial operations, steer strategic initiatives, and safeguard the company’s financial health to support ongoing expansion. The role also provides leadership to the accounting team, promoting accuracy and efficiency across all accounting activities. This is a full-time, in-office position based in either our Fargo or Grand Forks, ND offices. Join FLP and contribute to a rewarding career with our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and forecasting to support sustainable growth and profitability
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Provide strategic recommendations to the President and leadership team based on financial analysis and projections
• Manage cash flow planning, capital management, and financial risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal controls

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required)
• 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior management or executive roles (required)
• Strong understanding of construction finance, including job costing, progress billing, project profitability analysis, and cost controls
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

Education and Experience (Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• Accounting experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: From $120,000.00 per year
