Role Responsibilities
- Oversees day to day operational aspects of the department, focusing on the ongoing management of related initiatives.
- Executes the strategies developed by senior management and ensures effective implementation.
- Leads entry level and career level staff within the organization to maintain high performance and accountability.
- Influences decisions regarding hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, promotions, and pay for subordinates.
- Credit Risk and Collections Management: Assess and monitor the creditworthiness of clients, approving or declining credit applications based on thorough analysis. Develop and execute effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debt.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with sales, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment on credit policies. Prepare and present regular reports on credit and collections performance to senior management.
- Leadership and Management: Oversee the credit and collections team, ensuring staff are well trained, motivated, and productive. Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize departmental performance.
- Training and Professional Development: Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the credit and collections team to support continuous improvement.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Maintain high levels of customer service, ensure compliance with applicable laws, manage external agency relationships, and evaluate technology solutions to enhance efficiency, along with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
Experience: 5+ years of related experience.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $106,100.00 – $159,100.00. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Position Details
Location: Orlando, Florida
Work Model: This role requires on site presence a minimum of five days per week and is limited to the posted location. No relocation is offered.
