Role Responsibilities

Oversees day to day operational aspects of the department, focusing on the ongoing management of related initiatives.
Executes the strategies developed by senior management and ensures effective implementation.
Leads entry level and career level staff within the organization to maintain high performance and accountability.
Influences decisions regarding hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, promotions, and pay for subordinates.
Credit Risk and Collections Management: Assess and monitor the creditworthiness of clients, approving or declining credit applications based on thorough analysis. Develop and execute effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debt.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with sales, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment on credit policies. Prepare and present regular reports on credit and collections performance to senior management.
Leadership and Management: Oversee the credit and collections team, ensuring staff are well trained, motivated, and productive. Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize departmental performance.
Training and Professional Development: Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for the credit and collections team to support continuous improvement.
Other Duties as Assigned: Maintain high levels of customer service, ensure compliance with applicable laws, manage external agency relationships, and evaluate technology solutions to enhance efficiency, along with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.

Experience: 5+ years of related experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $106,100.00 – $159,100.00. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Position Details

Location: Orlando, Florida

Work Model: This role requires on site presence a minimum of five days per week and is limited to the posted location. No relocation is offered.
