Role overview

A leading financial services firm seeks a client‑focused Financial Advisor to join its established Investment Services Division within a respected Illinois financial institution. This role offers a strong growth trajectory for a proven producer who wants to expand their client base while delivering attentive service with backing from a stable, community‑oriented organization.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage a portion of the division’s current book of business
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with current and prospective clients
  • Prospect and generate new leads through multiple channels
  • Develop and maintain a solid fee‑based and commission book of clients using all available resources, including the bank’s customer base, the advisor’s network, and proactive community prospecting
  • Develop a strategic business plan for the division and track progress toward its goals
  • Communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and experience levels

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Coachable, honest, and a dependable team player with a strong work ethic
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with keen attention to detail
  • Adaptable and resilient with an optimistic approach
  • Comfortable using technology to enhance the client experience, including DocuSign, eSignature, and Salesforce
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 Licenses (or ability to obtain them within 3 months of hire for career changers)
  • Life, Health, Disability, Long‑Term Care Insurance Licenses
  • Certified Financial Professional (CFP) certification, CHFC and other industry designations are a plus

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is negotiable and includes salary plus commission to start, with substantial opportunities for professional and financial growth. The posted range is an estimate and may be adjusted for an advisor who brings a book of business. PTO benefits will be adjusted for advisors on a full commission arrangement.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
