Responsibilities

Under the Director of PR Operations & Talent Relations for Client TV+, deliver strategic operational support for budgeting, reporting, forecasting, purchase orders and daily invoices across global Publicity, Studio Communications, Talent Relations, Awards and Events.
Ensure timely reporting and analyze actuals versus budgets, generate cost reports, and promptly resolve discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
Collaborate with Finance, Travel, Business Affairs and Legal, along with internal and external teams, to create and vet budgets and drive efficient processes.
Assist in contract reviews and cost analysis in partnership with Finance and Procurement.
Manage setup of vendors and external partners in collaboration with Procurement.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum eight years of experience in strategic billing and purchase order development and execution within the entertainment industry.
Proven track record of tracking budgets and financial planning.
Ability to assess resources, monitor costs and build partnerships across Client TV+, Client Original Films and Client Studios.
Proactive, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, collaboration, problem-solving and communication skills.
Eight years of experience across financial analysis, financial planning, cost tracking, billing, budgeting and purchase order management.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Finance Officer is responsible for the financial management and fiscal integrity of the Township. This role oversees budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliation, purchase order management, and audit preparation. The Finance Officer supports the Board in maintaining sound financial practices and long-term fiscal stability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Budgeting and Financial Planning: Lead the development and coordination of the annual Township budget. Track budget performance across the fiscal year. Deliver regular budget-to-actual reports to the Board. Support financial forecasting and long-range planning.
Accounting and Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Maintain the general ledger and conduct monthly reconciliations. Manage the purchase order system and related financial documentation. Monitor restricted funds, grant funds, and capital accounts. Prepare financial statements and year-end reporting.
Compliance and Audit: Serve as the liaison with external auditors. Compile documentation for the annual audit. Ensure compliance with applicable municipal financial regulations. Maintain proper records retention for financial documentation.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or related field preferred.
Three to seven years of accounting or municipal finance experience preferred.
Experience with fund accounting and municipal budgeting highly desirable.
Proficiency with accounting software, QuickBooks certification preferred.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Compensation and Benefits
