ERP Developer

Overview

Robert Half is seeking an ERP Developer to join the team in Wiedman, Michigan. In this role you will support and enhance enterprise systems, develop custom applications, and deliver training to end users. The position provides opportunities to contribute to process improvements and system integrations within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for the company’s ERP system, ensuring smooth operation and resolving end-user issues.
• Design and maintain web applications that interface seamlessly with the ERP system.
• Develop and deliver training materials to educate end users on ERP functionalities and custom applications.
• Collaborate with users to identify opportunities for system improvements and implement effective solutions.
• Offer technical support for integrated applications and ensure system compatibility.
• Conduct project management tasks, including defining requirements, creating scope documents, and mapping processes.
• Perform gap analyses to identify areas for system enhancements and develop strategies to address them.
• Create and manage SQL queries, procedures, and reports to meet business needs.
• Integrate ERP systems with third-party applications to optimize workflows and functionality.
• Monitor and report project timelines while ensuring adherence to the software development life cycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and related business processes; experience with Oracle R12.2.13 preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PL/SQL, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Expertise in developing queries, procedures, and reports using SQL.
• Strong experience in full life cycle software development, including requirements gathering and process documentation.
• Familiarity with Oracle APIs and integration techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with end users and stakeholders effectively.
• Proven ability to manage projects and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; minimum of 5 years programming and ERP support experience required.
