Opportunity overview

Develop a meaningful financial services practice under the Allstate brand, growing your client base with proven support, flexibility, and access to new customers. We are seeking professionals with an established practice who want to leverage the Allstate resources to expand in their community.

Your Practice

As an Allstate Financial Specialist, you will build and manage your own financial services practice with backing from Allstate. Your collaboration with local Allstate Agency owners will drive new business in your community and create opportunities for additional revenue streams.

Your Support Team

We provide nationwide backing through a range of product offerings and ongoing education to help you succeed. Financial specialists may share space with an Allstate agency owner and can receive leads from them.

Your Work

Typically, an agency office includes one financial specialist who meets with clients in person, supported by a team of licensed professionals who deepen client relationships and generate leads. Allstate supplies guidance and expertise to help you build your business.

Are you a fit?

We are looking for individuals with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record of success. You should meet the following:

  • At least 2 years of life insurance or financial services sales experience with direct client interaction
  • State Life and Health Insurance Licenses
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses (where applicable)
  • Experience selling a blended mix of protection and asset accumulation products
  • Previous experience as a Financial Advisor, Financial Planner, Registered Representative or Investment Representative is preferred
  • Professional designations such as RICP, FSCP, CLU, ChFC, CFP, LUTCF are preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with emphasis on business
  • Subject to all terms and conditions in the Allstate Personal Financial Representative (PFR) agreements

Licensing, designations, and compliance

If selected as an Allstate PFR, bring your financial experience and proven track record. PFRs are not franchisees. With the exception of New York, they are independent contractors and not employees of Allstate Insurance Company or its affiliates; in New York, they are Allstate employees.
