Job Description
Citizens maintains a team of seasoned financial advisors dedicated to helping individuals and families reach their financial objectives. Wealth Advisors perform comprehensive consultations to capture short- and long-term aims, then design a customized plan aligned to those goals. This branch-based role thrives in a collaborative setting that centers on client interests and fosters both personal and professional growth for team members. Wealth Advisors collaborate with a range of business partners and centers of influence to uncover prospective opportunities. Location: East Greenbush, NY.
What You'll Do
- Build a robust wealth management practice that delivers a personalized strategy tailored to each client.
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with key partners to drive client introductions and engagement.
- Proactively reach out to clients and prospects to promote Citizens Wealth Management capabilities.
- Grow existing relationships through partnership referrals.
- Customize wealth planning to meet individual client needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and specialists to deliver services including financial planning, investment management, insurance, and estate planning.
Qualifications
- Series 7, 63, 65 (or 66) active and valid.
- A valid, active Insurance Life/Health/Variable license is required or must be obtained within 60 days of starting the role as a condition of employment.
- A minimum of 2 years in a Financial Advisor role or equivalent experience in financial services.
- Proven track record in new business development and client book management.
- Demonstrated experience in a team-oriented consumer bank setting.
- Familiarity with servicing high-net-worth individuals.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
