Senior Financial Compliance Auditor

Overview

Jefferson Wells is seeking a hands-on Senior Financial Compliance Auditor to support the SOX program, Oracle ERP controls, and financial audit execution. The role sits in the compliance department and collaborates with global process owners. It is an individual contributor position focused on testing controls, documenting processes, and utilizing advanced Excel features such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs to drive compliance activities. This is a fully remote role with coordination across global teams. Location: Remote in Milwaukee, WI 53212. Compensation is up to $47 per hour, based on experience, and only candidates with 5–8 years of audit experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and execution of Oracle Compliance policies and procedures for business processes.
• Communicate policy and procedures to Global Process Owners and Country Finance teams.
• Monitor ongoing compliance of policies, procedures, and controls.
• Develop trainings for process owners and reviewers to raise awareness of Oracle controls.
• Collaborate with the Oracle Compliance Manager to develop formal policies and a risk-based testing approach.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional experience; management-level candidates will not be considered.
• Internal or external financial audit experience required; Big 4 or large firm preferred.
• Financial audit experience preferred over IT audit.
• Strong SOX and/or ERP compliance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills required, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Large ERP experience required; Oracle highly desired but not required.
• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
