Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships through attentive listening
- Lead client interviews and conduct six month reviews
- Maintain a professional appearance in business casual attire
- Apply coaching to support clients in areas such as plan design, sales process improvements, marketing, and retention
- Stay informed on industry trends and developments impacting the business
- Plan daily and weekly activities to prioritize core tasks and meet benchmarks
- Deliver work with accuracy, clarity, organization, and attention to detail
- Prepare and present financial solutions for clients in person or virtually
- Reach out to providers to clarify, move business, and troubleshoot as needed
- Provide service for new and existing clients as required
- Collaborate with team members through regular meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (higher is preferred but not required)
- Proficiency with Zoom, DocuSign, spreadsheets, word processing, PDF editing software, VOIP, digital file services, and database entry
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- High level of confidentiality and integrity; protect client privacy in line with guidelines
- Excellent customer service capabilities
- Highly organized with a system to manage workflow and deliverables
- Active Life & Health Insurance License or ability to obtain
- CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation or ability to obtain
- Ability to be contracted with multiple carriers (requires solid financial status and clean credit)
- Within a 30 minute commute to the Fox Valley office in St. Charles, IL
- Valid Illinois driver’s license and access to a working car

Compensation
This is a full time exempt role with a competitive pay package and eligibility for bonuses. Federal holidays are paid, along with paid time off, and the plan includes health benefits. In the first year, the base salary starts at $5,000 per month, with commissions added after licensing, training, and new business writing. The compensation structure is production based with tiered growth and clear pathways for higher earnings.
Year 1 earnings sit in the mid five figures, with licensing, training, and new business activity opening the door to six figures in Year 2 and additional income opportunities thereafter.
