Business Intelligence Analyst - Consumer Finance
Job Description
Overview
Location: Remote in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is a full-time, remote position within the continental United States. In the role of Business Intelligence Analyst for the Consumer division, you act as the analytics owner, operating with an ownership mindset rather than simply generating reports. You will use data to drive decisions, influence outcomes, and tackle the toughest business questions such as what to do next, why it matters, and how success will be measured. You will serve as the execution engine behind the data-to-decision pipeline for the Consumer business, supporting FP and A activities and operational analysis. You will independently scope problems, model outcomes, reveal trends over time, and provide forward-looking recommendations that leaders can act on. If taking ownership, maintaining accountability, and turning ambiguity into clarity appeals to you, this role is designed for you. At MASA, analytics directly support our mission to protect families with compassion when others don’t by ensuring leaders have accurate, timely, and actionable insight. You will join a fast-paced, professional organization that values critical thinking, trust, and analytics that lead to action.

- Own end-to-end financial analytics for the Consumer division, from scoping business questions through modeling, analysis, and delivery.
- Build and maintain complex financial and operational models primarily in Excel to support decision-making.
- Develop sales and marketing forecasts, including volume, conversion, and unit economics assumptions.
- Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting pipelines, with increasing use of Power BI.
- Drive the annual budgeting process and create trackable frameworks to measure performance throughout the year.
- Lead monthly forecasting and variance analysis, providing clear, actionable commentary for leadership.
- Translate complex analysis into concise, executive-ready insights and recommendations.
What You Bring
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business intelligence/data analytics.
- Strong Excel skills (modeling, pivot tables, charts, variance analysis) and experience with Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tell clear, compelling data stories for senior audiences.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a track record of ownership and driving growth.
- Bonus points if you have experience with budgeting/forecasting software, sales pipeline forecasting in consumer products or insurance/benefits, or advanced credentials such as MBA, CFA, or CPA.
What We Will Provide You
- Competitive base salary, bonuses, and comprehensive employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, and vision insurance with highly rated carriers; a 401(k) program with a company match; paid time off; company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance; and a free MASA membership.
- A professional and friendly company culture that supports a clear mission: Protecting families with compassion when others don’t.
- An opportunity to unleash your expertise and create a lasting impact on our growth and success.
Why Youll Love This Opportunity
You will have real ownership over a critical business area, direct visibility into decision-making, and the chance to influence outcomes rather than merely reporting on them. The role offers autonomy, trust, and the opportunity to operate as a true analytics partner within a mission-driven organization.
