Role Overview
HSBC Global Services Limited seeks a Private Client Relationship Manager dedicated to Brazil-focused high-net-worth clientele. The role involves acquiring, maintaining, and expanding profitable, long-term relationships with individuals who are resident in or have a nexus to Brazil, aimed at growing AUM and gross revenue. The position is based in Miami, FL 33131.
Key Responsibilities
- Combine client relationship management with rigorous risk assessment to ensure credit quality and appropriate returns on risk.
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely resolution of audit points and addressing matters raised by external regulators.
- Originate target-market clients in Brazil for investment AUM, lending, and advisory services, collaborating with the US network and developing self-sourced prospects and referrals in Brazil.
- Grow revenues across the allocated portfolio, originate new revenue streams, and increase HSBC’s share of client wallet by coordinating with product specialists to align with HNW client requirements.
- Establish and maintain networks with other HSBC businesses to create cross-border solutions that span geographical/product boundaries and regulatory environments.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Familiarity with high-potential future HNW/UHNW clients.
- Minimum of 5 years of relationship management experience in banking.
- Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth, and revenue generation.
- Excellent commercial and negotiation skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Strong communication skills for direct client contact and problem solving.
- Solid understanding of financial markets and products; ability to provide robust financial and statistical analyses.
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Series 7 and 66 licenses required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Fluency in Portuguese.
