Role overview

The Senior Wealth Advisor SAFE Act is a strategic professional who keeps pace with developments in their field and helps shape directional strategy by applying insights to their role and the business. They are regarded as a technical authority within a specific area of the business and maintain basic commercial awareness. Collaboration with multiple colleagues who provide similar subject matter expertise is common. The role requires refined communication and diplomacy to guide, influence, and persuade others, including colleagues in other areas and occasional external clients. The position carries significant impact on the area through complex deliverables and provides advisory support related to the technology or operations of the business. Work in this capacity affects an entire area, ultimately influencing overall performance and the effectiveness of the sub-function or job family.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a broad range of financial and investment services to an Ultra High Net Worth client base in the United States.
  • Manage accounts of high net worth investors and collaboratively develop financial strategies with Private Bankers.
  • Conduct sophisticated economic and financial market analyses.
  • Assess economic trends and activities and advise on their implications for investors' portfolios.
  • Recommend adjustments to investors' holdings after evaluating economic, financial, and market factors and their potential portfolio impact.
  • Adhere to a defined prospecting code of conduct: new private client accounts may be acquired only by referral or personal contact with an individual seeking to do business, and seminars, mail campaigns, cold calling, and other solicitation methods are prohibited.
  • Develop relationships and generate ideas with Bankers and clients to promote growth of the asset base.
  • Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, following policy, exercising ethical judgment, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience.
  • NYSE Series 7 and 66 licenses, with additional licensing as needed.
  • Proficient in software applications (for example, Microsoft Word, Excel). Knowledge of Bloomberg is a definite asset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong financial background.

Education

Bachelor's or University degree; Master's degree preferred.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $70,000.00
