Position Overview

A lead wealth advisor is a client‑focused professional who delivers tailored financial guidance and ongoing support. They dedicate more than 80 percent of their time to direct client engagement, assisting individuals and families in reaching their financial goals through HF’s Seasons of Wealth Management service process. Primary duties include creating comprehensive financial plans, designing customized investment strategies, tax planning, and providing ongoing advice to keep clients’ plans aligned with evolving needs and market conditions. By building strong, trust-based relationships, these advisors help clients navigate complex financial landscapes, make informed decisions, and pursue long-term financial stability. Beyond client-facing work, they collaborate with tax professionals, estate planners, and other experts to provide a holistic approach to wealth planning. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and a solid grasp of financial principles are essential. Through a focus on client interactions, advisors deliver high levels of personalized service, fostering confidence and security in clients’ financial futures.

Typical responsibilities

  • Develop Customized Financial Plans: Design tailored strategies aligned with clients' short-term and long-term goals.
  • Provide Investment Advice: Recommend suitable investment options based on clients’ objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Monitor and Review Portfolios: Regularly assess and adjust portfolios to stay in line with goals and market conditions.
  • Retirement, Estate, Tax, and Education Planning: Assess needs, propose solutions, and craft financial strategies in these key areas.
  • Conduct Regular Client Meetings: Schedule and hold periodic meetings to review plans, address changes in circumstances, and provide updates.
  • Educate Clients: Explain complex financial concepts in accessible terms to support informed decision making.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with regulations and ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with Other Professionals: Work with tax advisors, estate planners, and other professionals to provide comprehensive guidance.
  • Respond to Client Inquiries: Address questions and concerns promptly with accurate, helpful information.

Skills and knowledge requirements

  • Financial Expertise: In-depth knowledge of financial planning, investment strategies, retirement planning, tax laws, and estate planning.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, assess risk, and develop effective strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written abilities to explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building capability to establish trust and understand client needs and goals.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience and education requirements

  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience with a strong emphasis on client management, strategic planning, and business development.
  • Skills Development: Demonstrated excellence in holistic financial planning, client acquisition, and maintaining long-term client relationships.

$115,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
