Based onsite in East Greenbush, New York, this Wealth Advisor role at Citizens combines client discovery with the creation of tailored financial plans within a branch-based, collaborative setting. You will partner with specialists to uncover opportunities that align with each client’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop a high quality wealth management practice delivering personalized strategies for clients.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with key partners to increase client introductions and engagement.
- Conduct proactive outreach to clients and prospects to showcase Citizens Wealth Management capabilities.
- Grow existing relationships through partnership referrals.
- Tailor wealth management planning to meet individual client needs.
- Leverage the knowledge of internal stakeholders and specialists to deliver services across financial planning, investment management, insurance, and estate planning.
Requirements
- Active and valid Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66) licenses.
- A valid, active Life/Health/Variable Insurance license is required or must be obtained within 60 days of starting the role as a condition of employment.
- Minimum two years of experience as a Financial Advisor or equivalent in financial services.
- A demonstrated track record in new business development and client book management.
- Experience in a team-oriented consumer bank setting.
- Familiarity with servicing high-net-worth individuals.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Pay Transparency
