U.S. Private Bank - National Client Banker - Associate

Role overview

We are actively seeking highly capable professionals to join the U.S. Private Bank as a National Client Banker – Associate. You will counsel families on building, preserving and managing wealth, blending investments with credit and banking solutions to support balance sheet goals. You will join a national coverage team and be backed by an institutional platform that provides resources, specialists and intellectual capital to help clients pursue their objectives.

What you'll do

• Manage a large client portfolio, earning trust by understanding needs, delivering tailored guidance and providing an exceptional client experience.
• Generate referrals and grow assets from the existing client base.
• Advise on the overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit and banking needs.
• Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver interdisciplinary expertise when required.
• Connect clients across all lines of business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. to present a full suite of capabilities.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with clients' short-, medium- and long-term objectives through holistic goals-based planning.
• Proactively re-engage clients through outreach, marketing follow-up and CRM data to reintroduce the Private Bank and refer opportunities to local coverage bankers.
• Strictly adhere to risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines and security measures.

Required qualifications and capabilities

• Three plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Series 7, 66 and Insurance licenses required; unlicensed candidates may be considered, but must obtain the licenses within 90 days of the start date.

Compensation and benefits

Base salary is determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. Those in eligible roles may receive commission-based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation, paid in cash and/or forfeitable equity, awarded for individual achievements.
