Ag/Business Banker

Overview

Border Bank invites an experienced Ag and Business Banker with a strong focus on relationship building to join the Greenbush team in Greenbush, Minnesota. This role suits a banking professional who excels at cultivating client partnerships, driving growth, and staying actively engaged in the local community. As an Ag and Business Banker, you will deliver loan, deposit, and cash management solutions to agricultural and commercial clients while representing Border Bank as a trusted partner in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate agriculture and business loans and manage an assigned portfolio with attention to growth, mix, margin, credit quality, and fee income.
• Generate new loan volume through proactive business development and deepening existing client relationships.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients.
• Monitor and address delinquent loans to maintain a high‑quality loan portfolio.
• Create new deposit relationships and expand existing ones.
• Negotiate loan rates and terms within established guidelines.
• Actively participate in community and civic organizations, representing Border Bank in the community.

Education & Requirements

• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Passion for business development and community involvement.
• Solid credit analysis skills.
• 5+ years of banking experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
