Private Client Relationship Manager

The role of a Private Client Relationship Manager (PCRM) involves direct engagement with affluent and high-net-worth clients, aiming to exceed expectations by taking a long-term perspective, acting with integrity, and collaborating with colleagues. PCRMs Partner with Wealth Financial Advisors and Certified Financial Planners to form the Citizens Private Client team.

Key responsibilities
- Acquire and onboard new affluent and high-net-worth clients into a Book of Business through outbound calling and in-branch or partner introductions.
- Increase net deposits, investments, and lending balances by conducting comprehensive discovery and financial planning conversations, understanding a client’s goals, and presenting personalized strategies aligned with those objectives.
- Deepen and retain client relationships through proactive outbound engagements triggered by life events, financial changes, and other insights.
- Deliver exceptional, high-touch client experiences.
- Collaborate with Wealth Advisors and Certified Financial Planners to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Work with colleagues across Retail, Business Banking, Mortgage, and Wealth to provide clients with a seamless Citizens experience.
- Use Salesforce CRM to track activity and maintain client information.
Measures of success
- Growth in net new investment assets in collaboration with Wealth Partners.
- Growth in new deposits, including checking, savings, and CDs.
- Growth in lending units and balances through mortgages, home equity lines, and securities-based lending.
- Improvement in client satisfaction survey results.
Qualifications, education, and licenses
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of banking, wealth management, or related experience.
- Experience working with affluent and high-net-worth clients.
- Required licenses: SIE, Series 6 (or 7), and Series 63 (or 66) at the time of hire. Life, Health, and Accident Insurance licenses can be obtained within a specified timeline after hire.
- Proven track record of success in a client-centric, self-motivated sales environment.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal partners.
- Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements to ensure a sound control environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation
Salary and incentive compensation. Salary commensurate with experience.
Hours and work schedule
Hours per week: 40. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday hours.
