Responsibilities
- Self-source and cultivate new client relationships through networking, referrals, and outreach.
- Develop and manage internal partnerships with Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Private Banking and Business Banking to support outreach and sell treasury management services to the bank's borrowing clients.
- Serve as a reference for internal and partner inquiries about treasury management services without relying on Product Management for information.
- Cultivate and develop relationships with referral sources to reflect the bank’s philosophy and collaborative approach to relationship building.
- Act as a liaison for the asset divisions and the Treasury Management Product group to support training and new product development needs.
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues with the assistance of the Treasury Management Team.
- Lead meetings and project assignments effectively when required.
- All employees share responsibility for risk management by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring daily risk in alignment with the bank’s risk management program.
- Compliance with applicable regulatory laws and company procedures is required for all positions.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three years of banking sales experience with demonstrated working knowledge of treasury management products.
- A proven sales track record, ideally in treasury management or financial services, including experience in self-sourcing new relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to uncover needs, address inquiries, and follow through on requests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of banking systems and branch operations.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
