Overview

Robert Half seeks experienced professionals to join our Full-Time Engagement Professional Talent Manager team. As a Talent Manager and a core driver of revenue within the Finance and Accounting Practice, you will lead business development and recruit qualified professionals for client projects and interim needs across corporate finance and accounting, accounting operations, shared services, tax, payroll, and audit functions. Full-Time Engagement Professionals are employed by Robert Half across a range of specializations, including accounting and finance, technology, legal, and marketing and creative. They support clients on mission-critical projects or backfill positions created by turnover or absences, applying strong technical and communication skills and industry experience to keep client operations moving forward. These professionals handle short-term projects, long-term initiatives, and recurring or seasonal work. Location

Hybrid remote in New York, NY

Business Development

  • Present our services to new and existing clients via video, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • Build and maintain client target lists to pursue new relationships and expand the current book of business.
  • Generate leads through professional relationships, candidate interviews, and other interactions that support sales efforts.
  • Develop enterprise-wide relationships with key stakeholders to showcase Robert Half’s staff augmentation and project offerings requiring accounting and finance professionals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote the Full-Time Engagement Professionals solution to clients.
  • Grow the business by maintaining regular contact with clients and engaged professionals to identify additional opportunities.
  • Negotiate bill rates for Full-Time Engagement Professionals.
  • Utilize proprietary business development tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in outreach.
  • Expand your professional network through involvement with networking organizations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, mergers and acquisitions activity, evolving technology, regulatory changes, and high growth market segments.

Redeployment and Bench Management

  • Match Full-Time Engagement Professionals with client staff augmentation or project needs.
  • Use pre-built searches and SFDC to identify and align Full-Time Engagement Professionals from the national practice with open Job Orders.
  • Leverage proprietary tools to support bench management and redeployment activities.
  • Partner with colleagues to promote Full-Time Engagement Professionals for deployment on current client engagements and future projects.

Recruiting

  • Recruit and hire highly skilled finance and accounting professionals into the national practice.
  • Meet weekly interview metrics aligned with skillset needs and growth goals.
  • Utilize proprietary recruiting technology to source high-caliber talent.
  • Grow your professional network through involvement with networking organizations.

Ongoing Management of Full-Time Engagement Professionals

  • Resolve customer service issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Maintain ongoing, consistent communication with engaged professionals while offering career development opportunities.
  • Conduct customer experience calls with clients and engagement professionals on active billing engagements to ensure expectations are met and identify additional project or staff augmentation needs.
  • Provide guidance, counseling, and performance feedback.
  • Participate in annual career discussions and merit pay reviews.

Salary and Benefits

The typical salary range for this position is $66,300.00 to $79,000.00. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and location. The role is eligible for a bonus based on achieving performance objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources or related field
  • CPA, CMA, MBA or other professional designation desired
  • 2+ years of finance or accounting experience preferred
  • 2+ years of Business Development experience in a metrics driven environment, including success in developing new business in a multi-call, multi-decision maker setting
  • Proven success marketing to and building trust with both C-level and manager level decision makers
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating system, Microsoft Office Suite, and any CRM application (Salesforce)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills, with a history of exceeding individual goals while contributing to a collaborative team
