The Investment Consultant role sits in our Branch Network and serves as an entry point toward a Financial Consultant path. You will gain hands-on experience and a clear path for advancement in this dynamic area of finance. Responsibilities include building a client book through proactive outreach to existing Schwab clients, identifying opportunities through needs-based analysis, and recommending appropriate products and solutions. You will observe seasoned Financial Consultants to learn how to deliver exceptional value through teamwork and mentoring. Your Qualifications
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through the Branch Network Licensing Program).
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment).
- A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment).
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Ability to leverage business development experience.
- Interest in expanding knowledge of brokerage and banking products and services.
- Willingness to build strong client relationships.
- In compliance with SAFE Act requirements, all employees involved in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing.
