This onsite Citizens Banker role in Philadelphia, PA comes with a compensation of USD 25 per hour, and provides a pathway to support customers across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs while coordinating with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking for more complex situations.
Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations and help customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
- Understand each customer’s personal financial goals and propose tailored plans to help them reach those goals, whether planning for the future, buying a home, or opening a new credit card.
- Promote digital and mobile first banking options, guiding customers to use the bank app and ATMs for transactions.
- Collaborate with partners in Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking to address more complex financial needs.
- Make outbound calls to attract new customers and schedule financial checkups, recognizing that a fit today may evolve over time.
- Adhere to all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance with state and local laws.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two years of sales and customer service experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
- Strong ability to ask questions and identify needs to strengthen the customer relationship
- Proven success in building relationships and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions
- Demonstrated skills using digital technology to support business goals
- Problem solving aptitude to provide practical solutions for customer issues
- Collaborative mindset to strengthen relationships with teammates, partners and specialists
- Self-motivated, confident and able to multitask effectively
- Availability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings
- Compliance with SAFE Act requirements, including successful pre-employment screening and obtaining an NMLS unique identifier
