Role Overview
The Financial Solutions Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role that leverages deep disciplinary knowledge to help develop new techniques and refine workflows within the designated area. It requires integrating subject matter and industry expertise across the defined domain and a solid grasp of how functions connect within the sub-function, while aligning with the objectives of the function and the broader business. The position involves evaluating moderately complex, variable issues with significant potential impact, where choosing a path and balancing competing factors requires weighing multiple alternatives and information sources. Strong analytical capabilities are essential to filter, prioritize, and validate complex and dynamic material from various sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy are key, and the role often involves leading informally or formally within teams, including coaching and training new recruits. The role can have a significant impact in terms of project size and geography, influencing decisions and service delivery within the area. The performance of this individual directly affects the work of all teams in the area.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, deployment and governance of financial solutions.
- Help set strategic direction for processes, organization, and architecture spanning Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations.
- Assist in establishing business and information architecture standards for Finance.
- Support forums and frameworks that establish and govern policies and initiatives for global Finance processes.
- Participate in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory, and market information needs into finance processes and applications.
- Resolve complex problems or transactions requiring interpretation of policies, guidelines, or processes.
- Manage one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, acting as an analytical or procedural expert on cross-function deliverables.
- May supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees.
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
- Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independent judgment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and other team members.
- Avoid risk by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying ethical judgment, and escalating or reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of relevant experience, with preference for the financial services industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.

Location and Compensation
- Primary Location: Tampa, Florida, United States
- Salary Range: $87,280.00 - $130,920.00
- In addition to base pay, Citi may provide discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards for eligible employees.
