Overview

Banking professionals serving as the branch's face, Citizens Bankers focus on understanding customers and building lasting relationships by offering trusted financial guidance and solutions.

What you'll do

  • Engage with customers in an outgoing manner, delivering clear guidance and practical financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing, and investing needs.
  • Learn each customer's personal financial objectives and propose tailored options such as future planning, home ownership, or a new credit card.
  • Introduce digital and mobile banking tools for convenient transactions via our app or ATMs.
  • Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking teams to assist clients with more complex financial requirements.
  • Conduct outbound calls to attract new customers and schedule financial checkups, recognizing that needs may evolve over time.
  • Adhere to all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of sales and customer service experience with a track record of meeting or surpassing goals
  • Ability to ask insightful questions and identify needs to enhance the customer relationship
  • Proven success in building relationships and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions
  • Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support business goals
  • Aptitude for problem solving and delivering customer solutions
  • Ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners, and specialists through collaboration
  • Self-motivated, confident, and capable of multitasking effectively
  • Availability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Compliance with SAFE Act requirements, including successful completion of pre-employment screenings and obtaining an NMLS unique identifier
  • Qualification to complete a video interview assessment after applying, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link. Preparation includes 30-45 minutes for a self-guided assessment, a quiet recording environment, and a device with camera and microphone.

Preferred skills/experience

  • 1 year of cash handling experience

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings
