As an Investment Consultant (IC) within Schwab’s Branch Network, you’ll begin a growth-focused path at the ground level, gaining the exposure and experience needed to advance toward a Financial Consultant role. You’ll learn how to build a book of business through proactive outbound calls to existing Schwab clients, identify opportunities through needs-based analysis, and present suitable products and solutions. You’ll observe skilled Financial Consultants and learn to deliver exceptional value and service through collaboration and mentoring. What you’ll do

You’ll develop and manage a client book by proactively reaching out to existing Schwab clients, conducting needs-based assessments, and recommending appropriate brokerage and banking solutions. You’ll observe experienced Financial Consultants and contribute to delivering outstanding service through teamwork and guidance.

What you’ll need to qualify

Required Qualifications:

• A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
• A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
• A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
• Ability to leverage business development experience
• Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
• Openness to build strong client relationships

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
