Investment Banking Senior Analyst - Energy (Houston)

Location: Houston, TX

Job Summary

Formulate new business proposals, construct forecasts and valuations, assess merger and acquisition scenarios, and prepare materials related to the public and private issuance of stock. You will be engaged across all stages of the transaction process, including drafting sessions, new proposal development, and due diligence meetings.

Responsibilities

• Advise on designing processes and systems that meet professional standards.
• Identify and evaluate complex, expertise-led solutions against criteria to find the best fit for business needs.
• Utilize data from diverse sources to analyze key themes and identify potential business impacts.
• Develop and amend investment models to inform senior colleagues and/or assist with portfolio management.
• Coordinate short-term work plans for a team to meet expectations within established timelines.
• Explore issues or needs, identifying potential causes, barriers, and related considerations.
• May include duties such as supporting internal clients or helping senior colleagues manage internal client relationships.
• Write and edit material for various target populations, adapting tone and content to meet audience expectations.

• Develop personal capabilities through assessment and development planning activities, as well as formal and informal training and coaching; pursue external professional accreditation where relevant to enhance performance.
