Thrivent is seeking a Financial Management Officer to manage the daily administration of investment management agency and IRA relationships within Thrivent Trust. This onsite role in Appleton, Wisconsin centers on maintaining strong client ties, collaborating with financial advisors, and working with the business development team to uncover growth opportunities and cross-sell solutions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality service to existing clients and Financial Advisors while cultivating new relationships to drive Thrivent Trust growth and profitability.
- Provide consistent, excellent client service in writing and speaking, whether in person, by phone, or via Teams or Zoom.
- Participate in client meetings as a primary relationship contacts.
- Manage client requests for Agencies and IRAs.
- Coordinate with external partners (Attorneys, CPAs) and internal teams (Compliance, Investments, Middle Office) to ensure accurate, timely administration and risk management.
- Adhere to applicable regulations, including OCC requirements, and follow internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Engage current and prospective clients to identify and secure new business opportunities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trust administration, financial services, wealth management, or a related area.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and video conferencing platforms.
- Strong client service or customer service experience.
- Basic knowledge of investment products.
- Approximately 5% travel required to meet prospective clients, attend meetings, support business development, and nurture long-term partnerships through client and committee engagement.

Compensation
The annual base salary range is $81,537 to $110,315, with actual offers determined by factors such as location, experience, and skills.
Location & Travel
Onsite role in Appleton, Wisconsin, with approximately 5% travel to engage with clients and support business development efforts.
