Position: Associate Advisor, Wealth Management at TalentLink Solutions, based in San Antonio, Texas 78216. The Associate Advisor role provides essential support to the advisory team, clients, and the firm by helping to manage client relationships and actively participating in the advanced planning process. As a key member of the service team, you will anticipate needs, resolve issues, and ensure follow-through on agreed deliverables. You will deliver consistent, accurate results through research, meeting preparation, meeting attendance and note-taking, reporting, analysis, and input and management of the financial plan. You will operate with the highest standards of business ethics and regulatory compliance. You are an excellent communicator who can understand others’ needs and develop practical solutions. You work efficiently, recognizing that detail work is critical. This position is well suited for individuals who want to develop client advisory skills under the guidance of an experienced advisory team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain proactive client contact and provide ongoing service
- Engage and support clients through the data collection process
- Organize, analyze, research, review and prepare data for financial planning analysis
- Produce detailed client road maps, presentations and analyses for meetings with clients and prospects using multiple systems
- Research complex situations, set client expectations, and define actions to resolve inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist the advisors in preparing upcoming client meetings; attend meetings for note-taking and follow-up
- Assist with analysis, rebalancing, and administration of client investment portfolios
- Conduct investment research, reporting, and analysis
- Onboard new clients in accordance with firm procedures
- Respond to all client communication within company guidelines
- Identify opportunities for existing client growth and development, including nurturing family relationships
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience within securities or a related industry; preferably in a client-facing capacity (support roles included)
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, financial planning, or a related field
- SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses required (or a combination of 63 and 65)
- Additional designations are a plus (FPQP, CFP, etc.)
- Excellent follow-through and communication
- Editing and writing skills to initiate, compose, format, proofread and carefully edit professional business documents
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines, even with interruptions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to convey information tactfully and effectively, orally and in writing, and to handle sensitive issues
- Ability to analyze situations, define problems and objectives, identify relevant factors, formulate conclusions and propose alternatives
- Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
- CRM software experience required; Salesforce knowledge highly preferred
- Industry-specific software/platform experience preferred; LPL, Schwab
- General knowledge of Financial Planning Software
- Advanced technology skills and proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)

Salary
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
