Role Overview

Citibank, N.A. is seeking a Finance Solutions Senior Manager for its Tampa, Florida location. The role centers on applying mathematical and statistical methods to practical finance challenges such as derivative valuation, securities trading, risk management, and financial market regulation. You will research and develop analytical tools to support portfolio construction or optimization, performance measurement, attribution, profit and loss assessment, and pricing models. The position involves building core analytical capabilities or model libraries using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques, and defining model specifications or data collection methods. You will create independent models or tools to verify the results of analytical systems and collaborate on the development or testing of new analytical software to ensure alignment with user requirements, specifications, or scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to finance related issues, including derivative valuation, trading activities, risk management, and regulatory considerations.
• Research or develop analytical tools for portfolio construction, optimization, performance measurement, attribution, P&L measurement, and pricing models.
• Develop core analytical capabilities or model libraries using advanced quantitative methods and econometric techniques.
• Define model specifications or data collection methods to support analytics work.
• Develop independent models or tools to validate results produced by analytical systems.
• Collaborate in the development or testing of new analytical software to ensure it meets user requirements, specifications, and project scope.
• Engage with fellow financial engineers or analysts on trading strategies, market dynamics, and system performance to inform quantitative technique development.
• Partner with product development teams to research, model, validate, or implement quantitative structured solutions for new or expanded markets.
• Help prepare requirements documentation for use by software developers.
• Contribute to the design, rollout, and governance of financial solutions across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations.
• Assist in establishing business and information architecture standards for Finance.
• Support forums and governance frameworks to establish policies for global Finance processes.
• Assist in incorporating changing business, regulatory, and market information into finance processes and applications.
• Provide directional strategy through analysis of subject matter and its application to the business context.
• Serve as a technical expert to advise on significant business or product decisions.
• Implement policies and procedures as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned and operate with limited direct supervision.
• Exercise independent judgment and autonomy and serve as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and team members.
• A telecommuting or hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in line with Citi policies and protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: A bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Experience: six years in the offered position or a related role performing UAT integration testing and providing financial analysis within the financial industry. The six-year requirement must include:

• Performing global requirements and user acceptance testing for financial applications through Change Management to enable Finance Transformation.
• Developing a requirements and UAT testing team across cultures and regions to ensure performance metrics and customer service quality.
• Assessing risks in areas such as systems, data, models, procedures, regulatory requirements, governance, and analytics.
• Identifying and addressing gaps in the requirements/UAT process to drive improvements and ensure adherence to policies and milestone timelines.
• Establishing standardized KPIs, reporting metrics, and measurements for the global requirements/UAT process to monitor capacity, performance, productivity, and quality in alignment with Risk and Control requirements.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements, standardization, or automation ideas to boost productivity and efficiency, shorten processing cycles, and reduce error rates by documenting workflows and creating process narratives.
• Designing and implementing solutions to keep a large matrix network of team members informed, including building and maintaining SharePoint Online intranet sites, email newsletters, and communications via Microsoft Teams.

Work Arrangement

40 hours per week. A telecommuting or hybrid schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the Tampa worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
