Job Overview

Position with Taylor and Sons Chevrolet in Ponderay, Idaho. The Finance and Insurance Manager leads the dealership’s finance and insurance operations, combining knowledge of financial products with strong customer service and negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for buyers. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance while delivering premium financing options to clients purchasing vehicles.

Duties

Oversee all activities within the finance and insurance department, including loan processing and credit analysis.
Assist customers in understanding financing choices and guide them through the loan application process.
Negotiate financing terms with lenders to secure competitive rates for borrowers.
Ensure compliance with TILA and other applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client interactions.
Collaborate with the sales team to strengthen customer relationship management and boost satisfaction.
Provide training and support to staff regarding financial products and services.
Stay current on industry trends, financing options, and regulatory changes.

Required Skills and Experience

Ethical conduct with verifiable history in the workplace.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce clean, organized paperwork.
Proficient math skills for precise financing calculations.
Excellent customer service skills to assist clients throughout the financing process.
Experience conducting credit analyses to evaluate creditworthiness.

Previous experience as a loan officer is a plus, enhancing guidance for complex decisions.
Clean driving record with no history of major violations.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.

Partner with the sales team to identify opportunities to upsell extended warranties, service plans, and other financial products that benefit both customers and the dealership.
Utilize financial software for loan processing, credit checks, and deal tracking, while maintaining thorough records of all transactions.
Negotiate terms with lenders and customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements aligned with dealership goals.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing customer relationships in the powersports or financial services sector.
Familiarity with dealership operations, powersports sales processes, and title processing procedures.

Proficiency with financial software applications and solid math skills for accurate calculations and data entry, including 10-key typing.
In-depth knowledge of TILA regulations and compliance standards related to powersports financing.
