Dealership Finance and Insurance Manager

Job Overview

Position with Taylor and Sons Chevrolet in Ponderay, Idaho. The Finance and Insurance Manager leads the dealership’s finance and insurance operations, combining knowledge of financial products with strong customer service and negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for buyers. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance while delivering premium financing options to clients purchasing vehicles.

Duties

• Oversee all activities within the finance and insurance department, including loan processing and credit analysis.
• Assist customers in understanding financing choices and guide them through the loan application process.
• Negotiate financing terms with lenders to secure competitive rates for borrowers.
• Ensure compliance with TILA and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client interactions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to strengthen customer relationship management and boost satisfaction.
• Provide training and support to staff regarding financial products and services.
• Stay current on industry trends, financing options, and regulatory changes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Ethical conduct with verifiable history in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce clean, organized paperwork.
• Proficient math skills for precise financing calculations.
• Excellent customer service skills to assist clients throughout the financing process.
• Experience conducting credit analyses to evaluate creditworthiness.
• Knowledge of automotive sales processes to better serve customers in a dealership setting.
• Familiarity with 10-key typing for efficient data entry.
• Expertise in loan processing to streamline applications and approvals.
• Ability to negotiate effectively with lenders on behalf of customers.
• Solid understanding of TILA regulations to ensure compliance in all financial dealings.
• Previous experience as a loan officer is a plus, enhancing guidance for complex decisions.
• Clean driving record with no history of major violations.
• Ability to comply with Taylor & Sons Chevrolet Drug Free Workplace policy.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.

• Schedule: 8 hour shift
• Location: On-site at Taylor & Sons Chevrolet, Ponderay, Idaho 83852
• Commute: Local to Ponderay, Idaho 83852 preferred
• Relocation: Ability to relocate to Ponderay, Idaho 83852 before starting work preferred
