Job Description

The Senior ERP Application Support Engineer provides day-to-day operational support, configuration, and issue resolution for ERP systems that underpin Finance and HR functions. The role prioritizes system stability, user assistance, and dependable execution of approved changes to ensure ERP applications effectively support business operations. This onsite position is based in Oakland, California, with a compensation range of USD 93,850 to 140,744 per year.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Finance, HR, business analysts, vendors, and IT colleagues to understand operational needs and ERP issues, delivering timely support and solutions aligned with approved designs and business requirements.
Deliver hands-on support for ERP applications, including configuration updates, user access control, workflow adjustments, and routine system maintenance. Implement approved enhancements and fixes under senior technical leadership guidance.
Assist with ERP related integrations to other enterprise systems such as EMR, CRM, banking platforms, and external vendors. Validate data accuracy and completeness for inbound and outbound integrations and escalate issues when needed.
Monitor ERP application health and performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, incidents, and data discrepancies, serving as an escalation point for complex operational problems.
Ensure ERP operations comply with security policies, healthcare regulations, and internal controls. Support audits by providing documentation and system evidence as required.
Maintain technical and operational documentation for ERP configurations, workflows, and support procedures.
Provide user support, training assistance, and guidance to Finance and HR staff.
Assist with knowledge transfer and onboarding activities for new application support staff.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Five or more years of experience in ERP application support, configuration, or enterprise application operations.
Proven experience supporting financial or HR systems in a regulated environment.
Experience working with vendors and third-party service providers.
Strong hands-on experience supporting ERP systems for Finance and HR modules.
Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with application integrations and data flows across enterprise systems.
Basic scripting skills (for example Python or JavaScript) used for automation or issue resolution.
Familiarity with healthcare interoperability concepts (HL7 / FHIR) from a support or validation perspective.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Clear communication skills for collaborations with business users and technical teams.

The Role at a Glance

The Growth Consultant & Community Manager – AI Vendor Channel Revenue is a revenue-driving operator responsible for overseeing Marketopia’s AI vendor portfolio and ensuring predictable lead flow, deal registration, pipeline progression, and commission realization. This position reports to the CEO and sits at the nexus of vendors, MSP partners, sales, marketing, and success. This is not an administrative community role; it’s a channel revenue operations role with a strong sales component.

Core Responsibilities

Vendor Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned AI vendors
- Conduct recurring performance reviews (pipeline, conversions, revenue)
- Align vendor messaging and offers with Marketopia campaigns
- Ensure vendors leverage Marketopia’s marketing and CRM infrastructure
- Support vendors in growing channel adoption and channel sales
- Identify & facilitate onboarding for new vendors in the community
- Identify opportunities to accelerate vendor sales growth and sell to vendors
Lead Flow & Demand Management
- Oversee inbound and outbound lead generation tied to each vendor
- Ensure proper routing of leads to MSP partners
- Monitor follow-up SLAs and pipeline conversion

- Drive continuous improvement in lead-to-close processes
Deal Registration & Channel Operations

Commission & Revenue Tracking
- Track closed-won revenue attributed to the AI community

MSP Onboarding & Activation
- Partner with Marketopia Sales and Success Coaches to explain the AI Vendor Community to MSP prospects

- Ensure newly enrolled MSPs are onboarded, registered with vendors, and connected to deal workflows
- Monitor activation metrics and ensure deal registration within 90 days
- Provide enablement materials and updates to internal teams
Process & Automation Optimization
