The Role at a Glance

The Growth Consultant & Community Manager – AI Vendor Channel Revenue is a revenue-driving operator responsible for overseeing Marketopia’s AI vendor portfolio and ensuring predictable lead flow, deal registration, pipeline progression, and commission realization. This position reports to the CEO and sits at the nexus of vendors, MSP partners, sales, marketing, and success. This is not an administrative community role; it’s a channel revenue operations role with a strong sales component.

  • Location: Pinellas Park, FL (Office-Based)
  • Reports to: Executive Leadership, CEO

Core Responsibilities

  • Vendor Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned AI vendors
    • Conduct recurring performance reviews (pipeline, conversions, revenue)
    • Align vendor messaging and offers with Marketopia campaigns
    • Ensure vendors leverage Marketopia’s marketing and CRM infrastructure
    • Support vendors in growing channel adoption and channel sales
    • Identify & facilitate onboarding for new vendors in the community
    • Identify opportunities to accelerate vendor sales growth and sell to vendors
  • Lead Flow & Demand Management
    • Oversee inbound and outbound lead generation tied to each vendor
    • Ensure proper routing of leads to MSP partners
    • Monitor follow-up SLAs and pipeline conversion
    • Identify and resolve pipeline bottlenecks
    • Drive continuous improvement in lead-to-close processes
  • Deal Registration & Channel Operations
    • Implement structured deal registration workflows
    • Ensure visibility between MSPs and vendors
    • Track deal status from first touch through close
    • Maintain accurate data in The Growth Machine CRM
    • Reconcile vendor-reported revenue with internal tracking
  • Commission & Revenue Tracking
    • Track closed-won revenue attributed to the AI community
    • Ensure vendor commission payments are documented and reconciled
    • Maintain reporting dashboards showing revenue performance
    • Improve systems to prevent commission leakage
  • MSP Onboarding & Activation
    • Partner with Marketopia Sales and Success Coaches to explain the AI Vendor Community to MSP prospects
    • Support positioning of vendors during sales conversations
    • Ensure newly enrolled MSPs are onboarded, registered with vendors, and connected to deal workflows
    • Monitor activation metrics and ensure deal registration within 90 days
    • Provide enablement materials and updates to internal teams
  • Process & Automation Optimization
    • Design automation workflows to reduce manual tracking
    • Build dashboards for leads, deals, revenue, and commissions
    • Continuously improve operational efficiency
  • Key Performance Metrics
    • Vendor-attributed revenue
    • Deals registered per MSP
    • MSP activation rate
    • Pipeline conversion rate
    • Commission earned and collected
    • Vendor retention and expansion
    • Channel revenue growth rate

Compensation & Benefits

Base Compensation: $40,000 – $45,000 annually + benefits + commission

Estimated Total Compensation: Y1 $ 55,000 – $70,000, Y2-3 $120,000 – $145,000

Compensation Structure:

  • Base Salary: $40,000 – $45,000
  • Commission Realization Bonus: 5% of Gross Vendor Commissions Collected by Marketop
