Full time Senior Accountant Accounting

Senior Accountant position based onsite in Fitchburg, WI with CENTURY 21 Affiliated.

Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely issuance.
Prepare, review, and post journal entries and general ledger adjustments to maintain accurate ledgers.
Perform and review complex reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Support month end, quarter end, and year end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
Assist with audit preparation and respond to internal and external audit requests.
Support tax reporting and compliance by preparing schedules and documentation.
Contribute to budgeting and reporting processes, including variance analysis and historical data support.
Serve as a resource to team members by providing guidance, reviewing work, and supporting training efforts.
Identify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling financial information.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
3–6 years of progressive accounting experience in public or private environments
