Century 21 Affiliated is seeking a Senior Accountant who will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and timeliness of our financial reporting. The role supports the close process, tackles complex accounting activity, and helps ensure consistency and compliance across the organization. What You’ll Do
- Own key accounting functions and contribute to a solid financial foundation.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries and general ledger adjustments.
- Perform and review complex reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts), resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to internal and external audit requests.
- Support tax reporting and compliance by preparing schedules and documentation.
- Contribute to budgeting and reporting processes, including variance analysis and historical data support.
- Serve as a resource to team members by providing guidance, reviewing work, and supporting training efforts.
- Identify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling financial information.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience in public or private environments
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and close processes
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to support and guide others
- Professionalism and discretion when working with sensitive information
