Position type: Regular. This opportunity is based in Sugar Land, TX 77478. In addition to the base salary range, the role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities. As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will work with the existing Schwab client base, delivering wealth management and financial planning guidance. Over time, you will grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and referrals. What you have
Required Qualifications
- A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license is required.
- During your tenure, you will be expected to obtain FINRA Series 66 (63/65) licenses and Life & Health Insurance licenses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to build strong relationships, earn client trust, and deepen connections through a focused client communication strategy that consistently exceeds expectations.
- Willingness to collaborate with Schwab specialists, follow Schwab advice guidelines, apply market knowledge, and inspire action to help clients progress toward their goals.
- Openness to manage wealth on behalf of clients across areas such as Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking and Lending, Insurance and Risk Management, and Estate Planning.
- Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve.
- Passion for community engagement and engaging clients in discussions about market conditions, sound investing principles, and suitable long-term strategies for their personal situation.
- Desire to deliver an outstanding investor experience while continuing personal development in Wealth Management.
