Responsibilities

Originate agricultural and commercial loans and oversee an assigned portfolio with emphasis on growth, product mix, margin, credit quality, and fee income
Drive new loan volume through proactive outreach and deepening existing client relationships
Deliver outstanding service to all clients, new and existing
Monitor delinquent loans and work toward maintaining a high‑quality loan portfolio
Establish new deposit relationships and expand current ones
Negotiate loan rates and terms within established guidelines
Represent Border Bank in local community and civic organizations

Requirements

Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
Passion for business development and community involvement
Solid credit analysis skills
5+ years of banking experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
